Ralliant Corporation to Establish Global Headquarters in Raleigh, Creating 180 Jobs
Governor Josh Stein announced that Ralliant Corporation will set up its global headquarters in Wake County, Raleigh, creating 180 new jobs. The company, known for its precision technologies across various industry sectors, will invest $2.1 million in the North Hills area of Raleigh. This move is a part of Ralliant’s transition into an independent public company, following its planned separation from Fortive Corporation in early Q3 2025. The establishment of the headquarters in Raleigh is expected to foster innovation and growth in the region.
Governor Stein expressed enthusiasm about Ralliant’s decision, highlighting North Carolina’s appeal as a technology hub. He noted that the Research Triangle offers a highly skilled workforce and robust training systems, which are ideal for companies looking to expand. Tami Newcombe, President and CEO of Ralliant, echoed this sentiment, stating Raleigh’s strong research presence and skilled workforce make it an ideal location for the company’s future endeavors.
The North Carolina Department of Commerce played a pivotal role in supporting Ralliant during its site evaluation and decision-making process. The project will be facilitated by a Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG), which projects a return on investment of 195 percent over the 12-year term. The grant is estimated to grow the state’s economy by more than $975 million, with potential reimbursements to Ralliant amounting to $2,630,250.
In addition, Ralliant’s decision to expand in Wake County, a Tier 3 county, will contribute $876,750 to the state’s Industrial Development Fund – Utility Account. This fund aids rural communities in financing infrastructure upgrades to attract future business, thereby benefiting economically challenged areas elsewhere in the state. Local officials, including N.C. Senator Jay Chaudhuri and N.C. Representative Tim Longest, welcomed Ralliant’s decision and praised the collaborative efforts of regional economic development organizations.
