WCK’s relief mission involves distributing meals across the affected areas, offering comfort and nourishment to communities impacted by the natural disaster.

Chef Andrés has been on the ground, providing updates and sharing insights through videos from Asheville and other regions, showcasing the team’s dedicated efforts in disaster response.

Andrés mentioned, “This is one of our @WCKitchen kitchens in Asheville, but we are across four states with multiple food trucks, kitchens, water trucks, plus delivering dog food, Benadryl, or hoagies as every community has special needs!”

In addition to meal distribution, WCK is tackling the critical water shortage in Asheville, deploying water tanks capable of providing up to 100,000 gallons per day.

Beyond North Carolina, relief efforts extend to other states. In Tennessee, WCK has already delivered over 13,000 meals to communities hard-hit by the hurricane.

Meanwhile, in Florida, WCK’s operations have ramped up to serve an impressive 20,000 meals per day, addressing the needs of affected areas.

World Central Kitchen continues to exemplify resilience and humanity, providing essential resources and support to communities during challenging times.
