Apply Now: Public Engagement Faculty Fellowship at U-M for Research Collaboration

OVPR seeking Public Engagement Faculty Fellowship applications

The Office of the Vice President for Research at the University of Michigan is now accepting applications for the Public Engagement Faculty Fellowship. This initiative collaborates with various campus units to enhance public engagement efforts by U-M faculty. Interested faculty members are encouraged to apply.

The fellowship aims to integrate U-M faculty into community-focused activities, promoting meaningful public engagement. By fostering partnerships between faculty and campus units, the program seeks to extend the impact of academic research beyond the university. This opportunity is open to all faculty members who are passionate about community engagement and wish to contribute to public discourse.

Selected fellows will receive support to develop and implement outreach projects, allowing them to share their expertise with broader audiences. “This program is designed to bridge the gap between academic research and public understanding,” said an OVPR spokesperson. Faculty members from diverse disciplines are welcome to apply, ensuring a wide range of perspectives and expertise.
