The political landscape in Georgia is set for a shake-up with the recent departure of U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene. Her exit has triggered a fierce contest, drawing over 20 hopefuls eager to claim her vacant seat.
This race for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District has attracted a diverse group of 22 candidates. Among them, 17 are Republicans, reflecting the district’s historical Republican bias, along with three Democrats, one Libertarian, and one Independent.
The special election is scheduled for March 10th, where all candidates will compete on a single ballot. Should no contender secure more than half the votes, the election will proceed to a runoff between the two leading candidates on April 7th.
