South Lake Tahoe’s city council has appointed Cody Bass as the mayor for the year 2026, while Keith Roberts will assume the role of mayor pro tempore, signaling a fresh chapter for the city’s governance.
Cody Bass, who first became a city council member in 2018, secured reelection in 2022.
