Fighting cerebral palsy since birth, Miller turned his childhood therapy into a passion for snowboarding, leading to an extraordinary career. Recently, his heroism was displayed in a different setting: on the highway.
Miller was on his way to the gym when he noticed an alarming sight on the interstate. A white truck was spouting thick white smoke. The situation escalated when he realized the truck was on fire. Without a second thought, Miller signaled the driver, Hector Diaz, to pull over.
Both Miller and Diaz acted swiftly, dousing the flames with water bottles from the truck bed. Their quick thinking and effective teamwork successfully extinguished the fire, preventing it from causing further damage.
Once the situation was handled, Miller nonchalantly resumed his journey as if saving the day was part of his daily routine.
Miller shared this incredible act of bravery on his social media account, posting helmet cam footage with the caption, “Adding ‘firefighter’ to the resume after today.”
Diaz left a comment on Miller’s video expressing his heartfelt gratitude, “My brother, thank you! I managed to get the truck to the mechanic. I’ll be without my truck for a few weeks, but thanks to God, I’m safe and chilling with my family.”
