Memorial Park Renovations Begin, Residents Seek Alternatives
Athens’ beloved Memorial Park in Five Points is undergoing significant renovations, prompting residents to explore other local green spaces. The park’s current closure is a part of the SPLOST 2020 initiative, which allocates funds for its extensive makeover.
