Nebraska Spring Game Ticket Sales to Support Wildfire Relief
In a strong show of community support, the Nebraska Athletic Department announced that they will donate all proceeds from ticket sales of the upcoming spring football game to assist with wildfire relief efforts. Scheduled for March 28 at 11 a.m., this decision underscores the department’s commitment to aiding those impacted by the recent wildfires.
The ticket pricing for the event is structured to encourage early purchases. Currently, general admission tickets are available for $5. However, this price will increase to $10 on Sunday and further to $20 on the day of the game. Club seat tickets start at $10, with prices rising to $20 next week and $30 on the game day.
“Nebraskans always step up in times of need, and we want to do our part to help our fellow Nebraskans affected by these wildfires,” stated NU Athletic Director Troy Dannen in a recent news release.

This year marks a return to the traditional spring football game format, following last year’s Husker Games multi-sport festival, which drew fewer than 10,000 spectators. In contrast, traditional spring games during the first two seasons under head coach Matt Rhule averaged attendance figures around 60,000 fans.
Meanwhile, Nebraska is grappling with four significant wildfires currently raging across central and western regions of the state, having already consumed over 750,000 acres since Thursday.
