Authorities are investigating a series of shootings that resulted in one teenage fatality and left two others critically injured over the weekend. The incidents took place in the neighboring cities of Williamsport and Bloomsburg, sparking a manhunt and appeals for public assistance.

Williamsport was the scene of two back-to-back shootings on Friday night. A 15-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being discovered with a gunshot wound at the intersection of First Avenue and Park Place. Despite efforts to save him at UPMC Williamsport hospital, the boy succumbed to his injuries. Police have yet to identify the assailant responsible for this deadly shooting.

Confrontation at a Halloween Party Turns Violent

In a separate incident the same night, authorities apprehended 25-year-old Zaire Jones-Wallace, also from Williamsport, following a violent altercation at a Halloween gathering on Park Avenue. The dispute began when Jones-Wallace engaged in a heated argument with his ex-girlfriend, Allura Brooks, as noted in an arrest affidavit.

The situation escalated when Brooks requested that a 15-year-old attendee, identified only as J.G., ask Jones-Wallace to leave the premises. As tensions flared, a physical fight ensued, during which Jones-Wallace reportedly fired his weapon, hitting J.G. twice in the chest. The victim sustained serious injuries, though his current condition remains undisclosed.

Jones-Wallace faces charges including attempted third-degree murder and aggravated assault. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the fatal shooting to contact Agent Brittany Alexander at 570-327-7586 or at balexander@cityofwilliamsport.org.
