Lehigh Valley Health Network Unveils New Orthopedic Center in Dunmore

Residents of Dunmore and the surrounding areas now have enhanced access to specialized healthcare services with the opening of Lehigh Valley Health Network-Dunmore, a new addition to the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute. This facility promises to expand the range of orthopedic and sports medicine services available in the region.

Conveniently located at 1010 O’Neil Highway, the center offers a variety of services including orthopedics, sports medicine, podiatry, injury care, rehabilitation, and cardiac services. Notably, patients can walk in for orthopedic consultations, injury care, and EKG testing without the need for prior appointments.

Thomas Graham, chief of Jefferson Orthopedics and physician in chief of Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, expressed optimism about the launch, stating, “Opening LVHN–Dunmore is the first of many comebacks for the Scranton community. We are deeply grateful for your support and confidence in us during this time of rebuilding.”

The opening comes in the wake of a devastating fire earlier this year that destroyed the orthopedic institute at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City. The incident has accelerated efforts to restore and enhance healthcare facilities in the area.

Raymond Bernardi, vice president of operations at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City, reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to the region, stating, “We are committed to providing exceptional healthcare close to home and investing in the Scranton community as we rebuild following the LVH–Dickson City fire.”
