Voters across Nebraska are heading to the polls this Tuesday, participating in pivotal elections that will shape local, state, and national leadership.
The primary ballot features several significant contests, including all three seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, a U.S. Senate position, key state roles like governor and secretary of state, and numerous seats on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents and state legislature.
Polling stations will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Central time zone and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Mountain time zone. Voters casting ballots in person must present an approved government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license. To locate your polling place, you can check online.
For those preferring early voting, it is imperative to ensure that ballots reach the county election office before polling stations close.
Nebraska Public Media News will begin posting election results online starting at 8 p.m. Central. Continuous updates will be provided throughout the evening.
