Music sensation Jelly Roll gave fans in Little Rock a delightful surprise by offering free fried chicken meals at Gus’s Fried Chicken on Tuesday.

The artist shared the news on social media, reflecting on his earlier performances at local venues like Sticky’s and The Rev Room. He encouraged everyone to join him for a meal before his sold-out concert at Simmons Bank Arena.
The turnout was remarkable, as described by Gus’s general manager, Justin Haley. The venue was soon bustling with Jelly Roll enthusiasts, forming lines that extended beyond the restaurant.
“The line was down the hall, out the door, and to the stop sign down there,” Haley noted, adding that about 400 meals were served.
In addition to covering the $11,000 meal expense, Jelly Roll left a generous tip exceeding $7,000 for the staff.
“He blessed every employee here,” Haley expressed. “He made sure they were generously taken care of for their time and what they did here.”
