The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office later released footage of the event, along with a commendation of Deputy Jordan Stevenson and Deputy Connor O’Shields for their life-saving intervention.
“In a single second, life can change forever,” stated the sheriff’s office.
The department reported that the young child had fallen into a swimming pool and ceased breathing. The situation that unfolded required immediate action.

“Those critical moments that followed could have ended in unimaginable heartbreak. Instead, because of the swift actions, training, and determination of Deputy Jordan Stevenson and Deputy Connor O’Shields, a little girl was given a chance to keep living her story.”
