Georgia Prepares for the Great American State Fair Celebration

In a significant move to showcase its economic and cultural assets, Georgia is set to participate in the Great American State Fair, which kicks off on June 25 in Washington, D.C. This event, part of the wider celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary, will see Georgia’s pavilion highlighting the state’s diverse industries, including agriculture and business, as well as featuring beloved products from iconic companies like Waffle House and Chick-fil-A.

The fair will be hosted on the National Mall and run through July 10. It will bring together exhibits from all 50 states and five territories, alongside contributions from businesses and civic organizations nationwide. Georgia’s involvement is spearheaded by the Governor’s Office and the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, with crucial support from the Georgia Department of Economic Development and several private industry partners.

Admission is free for all visitors, although prior registration is encouraged to streamline the entry process. The Georgia pavilion will be open each day, offering extended hours into the evening later in the week to accommodate more visitors.
