In Athens, the arrival of fall is marked by two cherished events that bring the community together: Porchfest and Boo-Le-Bark. These festivities have become a staple in the local calendar, with Porchfest celebrating its 8th year and Boo-Le-Bark its 11th.
This past weekend, more than 200 bands delivered live performances across seven neighborhoods, filling the air with music and excitement. The events attracted thousands of attendees who enjoyed the warm autumn day, complete with a parade of costumed pets. This unique blend of music and canine charm has solidified these events as essential parts of the Athens cultural experience.
