Athens-Clarke County’s Strategy for Expanding Firefly Trail
In an effort to extend the Firefly Trail, the Athens-Clarke County Government is negotiating with local property owner Paul Bunce. This initiative aims to acquire specific portions of Bunce’s land, with a focus on purchasing easements rather than full ownership.

This approach allows the county to use Bunce’s land for the trail development while enabling him to retain ownership.
