Natalia, who was born with Angelman Syndrome, has difficulty walking and uses a wheelchair for mobility. Abel’s compassionate act comes in handy here, as he sweeps the sidewalk leading to the playground during recess to ensure safe navigation for Natalia.
“I am responsible for sweeping the gravels and the rocks,” Abel shared with pride, emphasizing his commitment to making the playground a safe space for Natalia.

April Catherman, Natalia’s mother, couldn’t help but express her heartfelt gratitude for Abel’s thoughtful efforts.
“Knowing he does everything from his heart to help her, it fills me with joy,” Catherman said. “The fact that he ensures her safe passage to and from the playground is tremendously kind.”
