CCSD Launches Rolling Registration with Mobile Enrollment Bus

Time to register new students for school

Rolling Registration Event Aims to Simplify Student Enrollment in Clarke County

In a bid to streamline the enrollment process for new students, the Clarke County School District (CCSD) is launching its inaugural Rolling Registration event next week. This initiative is targeted at assisting families in the Athens-Clarke County area with enrolling their children for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Prospective students who will be entering any grade level within the district must complete the registration process. Detailed information on the required documentation and steps involved is available on the CCSD website.

In addition to the online registration option, CCSD is taking a proactive approach by hosting “Rolling Registration” events in select neighborhoods managed by the Athens Housing Authority.

To facilitate this, a repurposed school bus equipped with computer stations, dubbed the ‘Innovative Learning Lab,’ will be stationed in four communities over the course of two days, from June 16-17.

The bus will make stops at Nellie B., Parkview, Rocksprings, and Broadacres, allowing residents easy access to registration services. The detailed schedule for the Rolling Registration is as follows:

● June 16, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Nellie B.
● June 16, 1 – 4 p.m. – Parkview
● June 17, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Rocksprings
● June 17, 1 – 4 p.m. – Broadacres

It is important to note that students currently enrolled in CCSD schools, including those who attended pre-K during the last school year, are not required to re-enroll.
