The University of Georgia (UGA) continues to excel in national evaluations, securing a 4.5-star rating in Money’s Best Colleges in America rankings. This accolade highlights the institution’s consistent performance in providing quality education and favorable student outcomes.
Since the introduction of the five-star rating system by Money in 2023, UGA has maintained its 4.5-star status annually. This year, over 700 four-year colleges were assessed based on 25 criteria related to educational quality, cost-effectiveness, and graduate success.
UGA’s strong performance is supported by an impressive 87% six-year graduation rate. Graduates from the university typically carry a median student debt of $18,500 and earn a median salary of $48,074 shortly after completing their studies. Furthermore, a significant 89% of the undergraduate population benefits from grant aid, with low-income students incurring an average expense of $8,085 post-financial aid.
This recognition is complemented by other recent accolades, such as being named a top-20 public university by U.S. News & World Report and securing the 12th spot in The Princeton Review’s best value public university ranking.
