Megan Brock, president of the BFSO, highlighted the importance of the gathering. “In support of us remembering our heritage, of us recognizing, acknowledging, celebrating the trailblazers that came from our very own community,” Brock expressed, emphasizing the event’s role in celebrating their shared history.

Esteemed attendees included UGA President Jere Morehead, who offered remarks, and the keynote speaker, Dr. Juanita Johnson-Bailey.
