Applications Open for 2026 Healthcare Scholarship Program by Piedmont Athens Regional Auxiliary
The Piedmont Athens Regional Auxiliary is now inviting applications for its 2026 scholarship initiative, designed to aid students aspiring to enter the healthcare field. This program seeks to support future healthcare professionals by providing vital financial assistance.
Eligible candidates must be current enrollees or have received acceptance letters from Georgia-based higher education institutions, with the aim of obtaining a degree in a healthcare discipline.
Residency in one of the 17 counties serviced by Piedmont Athens Regional is a prerequisite. These counties include Athens-Clarke, Banks, Barrow, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Habersham, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Stephens, Taliaferro, Walton, and Wilkes.
Applicants are required to submit several documents, including an official transcript, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, write an essay between 600 and 1,000 words, and provide at least two letters of recommendation. The application deadline is set for May 30, 2026.
