The University Record Seeks Community Input for Future Enhancements
Established in 1891, The University Record has been a cornerstone news source for the University of Michigan community. With a legacy spanning over a century, the publication continuously strives to evolve and better serve its readership. Once again, the Record invites its audience to participate in shaping its future.
Over the past year, the Record has implemented various initiatives to expand its coverage, ensuring it represents the diverse schools, colleges, and units across the university’s three campuses and Michigan Medicine. These efforts include enterprise stories, leadership messages, and updated designs, all aimed at reinforcing the university’s mission and fostering community connections.
To continue these enhancements, the Record is conducting a survey designed to gather valuable feedback from its readers. The survey seeks insights into the types of content that are most beneficial for personal and professional success, as well as preferences regarding delivery methods.
The survey is available to University of Michigan employees, retirees, and local community members. All responses will be kept anonymous and confidential. The deadline for submission is Friday, March 27. Participation in this survey will play a critical role in how the Record narrates the ongoing story of the University of Michigan.
