Real Estate Development Set to Transform Guilford County
A new development project is set to reshape the landscape of Guilford County, as two local real estate firms collaborate on a major mixed-use development. Located conveniently near the future I-685 and just a short drive from a major manufacturing facility, this project aims to meet the growing demand for residential and retail spaces.
Brown Investment Properties and Simpson Commercial Real Estate have unveiled plans for a 62-acre development in close proximity to Southeast Guilford High School. The strategic location is approximately ten minutes away from the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Facility, which initiated operations last year in Liberty and significantly boosted job opportunities in the region.
The $100 million venture, motivated in part by the economic growth spurred by the new Toyota plant, will feature a combination of a grocery store and multifamily housing units. As noted by representatives from Simpson Commercial, the investment is a direct response to the burgeoning community needs driven by the influx of new jobs and residents.
