Couple Recreates Taylor Swift Album Covers

Swiftie couple recreates Taylor Swift album covers

A pair of married Taylor Swift superfans embarked on a creative project to recreate all of Taylor Swift’s album covers. This unique mission was triggered by Swift’s new record announcement, “The Tortured Poets Department” at the Grammys in February.

Charlie Bird, the mega Swift fan in the duo, thought of this inventive idea right after Swift surprised everyone with her announcement during her acceptance of the Grammy for best pop vocal album. His husband, Ryan Clifford, excitedly agreed to the project.

This isn’t the first time the couple has shown their devotion to the pop star. Their Halloween costume last year was a big hit when they dressed up as Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Charlie bravely shaved his head for the role, while Ryan painstakingly recreated Swift’s red “Reputation” costume that she wore during her Eras Tour.

Documenting their project on YouTube and their social media channels, the couple’s followers were thrilled with the final results. The couple’s dedication to detail was apparent and fans loved seeing Ryan as Taylor Swift, generating lots of laughter and positive comments.

The couple painstakingly shot photoshoots to represent all 16 years of Swift’s illustrious career – everything from her debut album “Taylor Swift,” released in 2006, to her newest release. The process took several days of preparation for each shoot, with dedicated effort put into sourcing costumes and props, and scouting nearby locations to recreate the perfect look.

“Swift’s evolution of looks and hairstyles is vast and we’re doing our best to authentically recreate each look,” Charlie said. Ryan humorously added, “It’s a good thing I have long, curly hair, which makes it versatile.”

The couple credits Swift’s relatability as a major factor in her popularity. Music therapist Charlie mentioned he has clients who use her songs to express their feelings, attributing the impact of her music to her ability to connect emotionally with her fans.

Digital marketer Ryan agreed, adding that Swift’s music is also aspirational. “She’s just an ordinary girl expressing herself through music, and that resonates with us.”

The couple expressed their excitement about recreating the looks from the newest album. “There’s going to be a lot of giggling — at my expense,” Ryan quipped, showing that fun and laughter are integral to their Swift-inspired creative journey.
