New Initiative to Support Young Adults Affected by the Legal System in Athens
In an effort to enhance career prospects for young adults in Athens who have been impacted by the legal system, Goodwill of Northeast Georgia has been awarded over $700,000 by the US Department of Labor. This significant grant is set to fund a comprehensive training program aimed at equipping these individuals with essential skills for the workforce.
Jenny Taylor, who holds the role of Vice President of Career Services and Chief Mission Officer at Goodwill of Northeast Georgia, elaborated on the initiative in a conversation with Emma Auer from WUGA. The focus of the program is to provide targeted skill development and support, tailored to meet the needs of these young adults.
