Fatal Dirt Bike Collision Under Investigation in Athens-Clarke County

A tragic dirt bike accident in Athens-Clarke County has left a community seeking answers. The incident occurred on May 16 at the intersection of Whit Davis Road and Pettit Lane, where officers of the Athens-Clarke County Police Department discovered 28-year-old Worley Lorenzo Robinson, severely injured on the roadway.

Emergency medical services rushed Robinson, a resident of Elberton, to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, Robinson’s critical injuries proved fatal, and he passed away on May 18. The police department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
