Community Invited to Explore Law Enforcement in Clarke County

The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is extending an opportunity for locals to delve into the inner workings of law enforcement through its Academy for Community Engagement. This initiative aims to provide participants with a practical understanding of the department’s daily operations.

During the six-week program, attendees will partake in activities such as a Citizens’ Firearms Class and experience a Virtual Reality Simulator. These sessions are scheduled every Wednesday from April 8 to May 13, taking place at the Training Center located on County Farm Rd. between 6 pm and 8 pm.
